Manavgat Waterfall and the Jeep Safari: What Is Promised — and What Is Not

No jeep safari of ours guarantees the Manavgat Waterfall. On the eight-hour day tour from Side the waterfall is a possible stop on the way back, decided by that day's programme, with the entrance paid on site. The five-hour night jeep safari from Side treats it differently: the waterfall is written into its evening programme, as far as that evening's running allows — still not a promise. If the falls are the reason you are booking, ask us on WhatsApp first and we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot say for your date.

What the Manavgat Waterfall actually is

The Manavgat Waterfall is wide, powerful and low: the Manavgat river pouring over a broad step rather than plunging from a height. Do not arrive expecting a mountain cascade — these falls impress with width and force, not with height.

The practical part first: the waterfall is a paid site. Whenever one of our jeep days calls there, the entrance fee is paid on site; it is not included in any price on this site.

Two jeep days, two different answers

Two of our jeep days can bring you to the falls, and they do not treat it the same way. The first is the eight-hour day tour from Side: there the waterfall is a possible stop on the return leg, written into the programme as programme-dependent, never as a promise.

The second is the five-hour night jeep safari from Side, and the Manavgat Waterfall is written into its evening programme — closer to a plan than to a chance, though still subject to how that evening runs. That evening is a different kind of outing altogether: dinner on board, a catamaran cruise with music and entertainment, and a swim at Green Lake.

On the day tour: a possible stop, never a promise

The day tour spends its eight hours in the Taurus foothills and turns back towards the coast for a late-afternoon return. If that day's programme includes it, the convoy stops at the Manavgat Waterfall on the way home, and anyone who wants to go in pays the entrance on site.

Whether the stop happens is decided by the programme of that particular day — not by us at the moment of booking, and not by this page. That is why our own tour listing files the waterfall under the optional extras rather than under the inclusions.

  • Promised on every departure: hotel pickup and drop-off, the full off-road day, lunch at the lakeside restaurant, guiding throughout.
  • Programme-dependent: the Manavgat Waterfall stop on the return, entrance paid on site.
  • Optional and paid on the day: the 1-hour Green Lake boat trip at 5 EUR per person, and mini zoo tickets during the village break.

On the night safari: the waterfall in the evening

The night jeep safari runs from early June to mid-November and is designed for guests aged 12 and over. Its evening programme has the Manavgat Waterfall on it, as far as that evening's running allows, alongside a swim at Green Lake, dinner on board and a catamaran cruise with music and entertainment.

Pickup is in the late afternoon, with the exact hotel time confirmed after booking, and the price is 35 EUR per adult. As on every jeep day of ours, professional drivers do all the driving — guests never take the wheel. The evening is not suitable for people with mobility impairments.

Why we refuse to promise the stop

It would be easy to write "waterfall included" on the day-tour page and let the programme sort itself out. We do the opposite, because a stop that depends on the day's programme is not ours to promise, and a guest who booked for the waterfall and did not get it has been misled, not merely unlucky.

So the rule on this site is fixed: the day tour promises the route it controls and treats the waterfall as what it is — a possible extra. For the full stop-by-stop account of the jeep safari day, from the old Roman bridge where the asphalt ends to the late-afternoon return, read the route guide; this page deliberately covers a single stop.

If the waterfall is non-negotiable

Some guests are not choosing an off-road day with a waterfall attached — they are choosing the waterfall, with a jeep attached. If that is you, do one thing before booking anything: write to us on WhatsApp at +90 536 603 75 84, name your date, and say the waterfall is the point. We will tell you honestly what the day tour can and cannot promise, or point you at the night safari when its season fits your stay.

And if your hotel is in Manavgat town itself, jeep safari days from the Manavgat hotel area have their own page — that one is about where the day starts, this one is about one stop on it.

What the day tour promises whatever the programme decides

What the day tour promises in writing does not depend on that decision at all: hotel pickup and drop-off, the full off-road day in 8-10 seat 4x4s with professional drivers, lunch at a lakeside restaurant and guiding throughout. Around those inclusions the route runs its usual shape — the old Roman bridge, off-road sections that cross dry riverbeds and stream crossings, orchards of orange, lemon and pomegranate, ancient Roman aqueducts, the views over Green Canyon and Green Lake, the swim stop at Oymapınar village with freshly made Turkish pancakes and a drink, and the photo stop at Oymapınar Dam.

After lunch there is the optional 1-hour boat trip on Green Lake at 5 EUR per person, paid on the day, which takes the day to 25 EUR per adult. In summer the jeeps are open-top and the water fights between jeeps are part of the day; in winter the convoy switches to covered jeeps and the water games stop.

Prices, ages and booking terms

The day tour costs 20 EUR per adult and 10 EUR per child aged 4 to 12, with infants aged 0 to 3 free and lunch included; the night safari costs 35 EUR per adult for guests aged 12 and over. Prices were last updated on 17 August 2026.

Booking works the same way for both: the reservation is free, there is no prepayment and no card is taken online, you pay in euros on the day of the tour, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure. Ask any waterfall question first — checking costs nothing.

Questions

Frequently asked

Why is the waterfall stop on the day tour not guaranteed?
Because it genuinely depends on how that day's programme runs, and we will not promise in advance what the programme decides on the day. The tour listing therefore files the Manavgat Waterfall under the optional extras, with the entrance paid on site, rather than pretending it is an inclusion.
Is the waterfall entrance fee included in any tour price?
No. When the day tour's programme includes the stop, the entrance is paid on site. The day-tour price of 20 EUR per adult covers the safari itself, hotel pickup and drop-off, guiding and the lakeside lunch.
Which of your jeep tours is most likely to show me the Manavgat Waterfall?
The night jeep safari: 5 hours, 35 EUR per adult, for guests aged 12 and over, running from early June to mid-November, with the waterfall on the evening programme as far as that evening's running allows, plus dinner on board, a catamaran cruise and a swim at Green Lake. On the day tour the waterfall is only a programme-dependent possibility. Neither day is sold with the falls guaranteed.
What should I do if the waterfall is the main reason I am booking?
Say so before you book. Message us on WhatsApp at +90 536 603 75 84 with your date and we will answer honestly: what the day tour can and cannot promise, and whether the night safari's season covers your stay. A free reservation with no prepayment means checking first costs you nothing.
Does the Manavgat rafting and jeep combo go to the waterfall?
Its programme is built around something else: a 9-hour day at 40 EUR per adult and 24 EUR per child, combining off-road driving in the Taurus Mountains with approximately 12 km of white-water rafting. A waterfall stop is not part of its listed programme, so do not book that day for the falls.
Is the waterfall stop possible on a winter departure?
The day tour runs in winter with covered jeeps and no water games, and the waterfall stop stays what it is in every season: programme-dependent, decided on the day. The night safari runs from early June to mid-November only, so outside that window the day tour is the only jeep day that can pass the falls.
