The straight answer, before any comparison
Most pages that promise to compare private and group tours are really selling you the expensive one. This page cannot do that, because we have only one format on sale. Every jeep safari bookable through this site is a shared departure, and that is true of the flagship full-day tour from Side, the night safari, the rafting combinations and the Alanya Dim River day alike.
So the useful question is not which one to buy. It is whether the shared format suits the day you have in mind, and what to do if it does not. We have no star ratings or review counts to wave at you, so everything below is operational detail you can hold us to on the day itself.
What a shared jeep actually looks like
Each vehicle is an open-top 4x4 that carries eight to ten guests with a professional driver, and the vehicles travel together as a convoy rather than setting off alone. Your day is therefore spent alongside other guests in your own jeep and, at every stop, alongside the people from the other jeeps as well.
Everyone follows the same programme. The convoy leaves the asphalt at an old Roman bridge, runs past orange, lemon and pomegranate orchards and cotton and sesame fields, passes ancient Roman aqueducts and a panoramic viewpoint over Green Lake, breaks in Oymapınar village for a swim and freshly made Turkish pancakes with a drink, stops for photographs at Oymapınar Dam and above Green Canyon, and sits down together for the included lunch at a lakeside restaurant. Guiding runs in English, German and Russian, alongside Turkish.

What sharing buys you
The price is the obvious part. A full day in the mountains is EUR 20 per adult and EUR 10 per child aged four to twelve, with infants aged nought to three free, and lunch at the lakeside restaurant is already inside that figure. Hotel pickup and drop-off from Side and the surrounding resort areas is included too, so there is no transfer to arrange and no parking to find.
The optional one-hour boat trip on Green Lake after lunch is EUR 5 per person, paid on the day, which brings a full adult day to EUR 25. Nothing is taken online: the reservation is free, no card details are collected, and you pay in euros on the day of the tour.
What sharing costs you
The timetable belongs to the convoy, not to you. Pickup order is set by the route between hotels, the confirmation of your own time comes after booking, and the length of each stop is the same for everybody. If you would happily spend another half hour at the canyon viewpoint, the convoy still moves when the convoy moves.
The atmosphere is shared as well. Summer departures include water fights between jeeps, which is part of the fun for many guests and firmly not for others; winter runs use covered jeeps with no water games at all. We do not publish a seating policy, so nobody can promise your party specific seats together in advance — say it to the driver at the hotel gate and be prepared to be flexible. The tracks are bumpy in places, so anyone with a back or neck problem should mention it before boarding rather than after.

Who is genuinely fine in a group, and who is not
In our experience of running this exact programme, the shared jeep suits people who want the mountains, the swim stop and lunch at a fair price, and who do not mind that the day is organised around a convoy. Families often do better than they expect, because children usually enjoy the company of other children and the water fights more than the scenery.
The guests who struggle are the ones who arrived expecting a chauffeur. If your picture of the day involves choosing the stops, controlling the timings, keeping the vehicle quiet, or having a driver whose attention belongs to your party alone, the shared departure will disappoint you, and you should not book it and hope. If you want a jeep to your own party, ask rather than assume
We would rather tell you what we do not know than invent it. We do not run a private jeep safari as a bookable product, which means there is no published private price, no fixed private programme and no minimum party size that we can quote you on a web page. Anything you read elsewhere putting a number on our private tour did not come from us.
A private arrangement is only possible by asking directly. Message WhatsApp +90 536 603 75 84, tell us the date, how many adults and children are travelling and which resort area you are staying in, and you will get a straight answer about whether it can be arranged and on what terms. If it cannot, we will say so rather than quietly sell you the shared tour under another name.
The other tours are shared too
It is worth saying plainly, because it saves disappointment: none of our other jeep departures is private either. The Side Night Jeep Safari is EUR 35 per person for guests aged twelve and over, runs about five hours from early June to mid-November and includes dinner on board and a catamaran cruise with music, which is a larger shared setting rather than a quieter one.
The combination days follow the same rule. Side rafting and jeep safari is EUR 28 per adult and EUR 17 per child over seven hours; the Evrenseki, Kumköy and Manavgat rafting and jeep combinations are EUR 40 per adult and EUR 24 per child over nine hours; and the Alanya Jeep Safari to the Dim River is EUR 30 per adult and EUR 17 per child over eight hours, running April to November. All of them are group departures rather than private ones.
If your real concern is noise and water rather than company, the quietest version of this tour is the off-season one, when jeeps are covered and there are no water games.
Booking either way, and changing your mind
Booking the shared safari takes a minute and costs nothing today. The reservation is free, no prepayment is taken and no card is collected online; you pay in euros on the day. Cancellation is free up to twenty-four hours before departure, so holding a date while you think it over costs nothing.
On the morning itself the meeting point is the main entrance gate of your hotel, and your exact pickup time is confirmed after booking rather than promised in advance, because it depends on where you sit on the route. If a private arrangement matters more to you than any of this, send the WhatsApp message first and book afterwards — in that order, nobody ends up on the wrong tour.
