The meal is in the price, not an add-on
On the full-day Side Jeep Safari, lunch sits in the included list next to the 4x4 jeep with its professional driver, hotel pickup and drop-off from Side and the surrounding resort areas, and guiding through the day. It is a lakeside restaurant by Green Canyon, covered by what you pay for the tour.
That price is 20 EUR per adult (13-99), 10 EUR per child aged 4-12, and infants aged 0-3 travel free. There is no separate meal ticket and no upgrade at the door. The only thing you decide at the table is what you want to drink.
The one optional extra on that stretch of the day is the one-hour Green Lake boat trip at 5 EUR per person, taken after lunch and paid on the day, which brings the day to 25 EUR per adult. The meal is the same either way.
Before lunch: pancakes at the village swim stop
The route matters here, because you eat twice. After the morning pickup the convoy leaves the asphalt at an old Roman bridge and climbs past orange and pomegranate orchards, cotton and sesame fields and Roman aqueducts to a panoramic viewpoint over Green Lake.
The next stop is Oymapınar village: a swim stop, and freshly made Turkish pancakes with a drink. That is the most useful line on this page if you travel with children, because it lands hours before the proper meal.
The village break also has an optional mini zoo, whose tickets are not included and are paid on the spot.
Where lunch actually happens on the day
Lunch comes in the middle of the mountain section, after the photo stop at Oymapınar Dam and the viewpoint above Green Canyon. The restaurant is beside the water, which is why guests remember it as the lakeside lunch.
Afterwards: the optional Green Lake boat trip, a village mosque visit with the guide, and a return to the hotel in the late afternoon. A stop at Manavgat Waterfall on the way back is programme-dependent rather than guaranteed, and its entrance is paid on site if the day includes it.
If you want the whole sequence rather than just the food, the itinerary page walks through it.
Drinks are not included — this is the part guests miss
Every jeep product we run excludes beverages, and we would rather you read that here than discover it at the table. On the flagship safari the exclusions are drinks and personal expenses, plus photos and videos taken by the tour team.
It is the same across the range: the night safari and the Evrenseki, Kumköy, Manavgat and Side rafting combos all exclude beverages, the last one specifically anything outside lunch.
So carry euros in small notes. The list of things you might pay for is short, and none of it is compulsory.
- Drinks at the lunch restaurant, and any extra drinks at the village break
- The optional one-hour Green Lake boat trip, 5 EUR per person
- The Manavgat Waterfall entrance, if the day's programme includes that stop
- Mini zoo tickets during the village break
- Photos and videos taken by the tour team
What we will not tell you about the menu
We will not publish a dish list. What we can verify is that lunch is served at a lakeside restaurant by Green Canyon and that it is included; we have no confirmed menu in writing, and inventing one would be a bad promise.
The same applies to special diets. We have no verified vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or allergy menu for that restaurant. The honest process is this: tell us when you book, in the booking notes or on WhatsApp at +90 536 603 75 84, and we pass it to the restaurant before your date and tell you what they say. What we will not do is promise a specific dish in advance.
Infants aged 0-3 travel free, and we have no written line about a meal portion for them either, so ask rather than assume. The reservation is free, no card is taken online and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure, so you can ask first and decide afterwards.
Lunch on the rafting and jeep safari combos
If you are looking at a combo day instead, the meal is included there too; on the Evrenseki and Kumköy days it is served by the river. Beverages are excluded on all four departures, where the age bands are infants 0-3, children 4-11 and adults 12 and over.
- Side rafting and jeep safari, 7 hours, 28 EUR adult / 17 EUR child: two-way jeep transfer, roughly 12 km of rafting in Beşkonak Köprülü Canyon, helmets, paddles and life jackets, guiding and lunch. Extra beverages outside lunch are not included.
- Evrenseki combo, 9 hours, 40 EUR / 24 EUR: round-trip jeep transfer, off-road with the Ancient Roman Bridge visit, full white-water rafting, safety equipment, travel insurance and a riverside lunch. All beverages excluded.
- Kumköy combo, 9 hours, 40 EUR / 24 EUR: hotel transfer, 14 km of Grade II-III rapids, the Roman-era Oluk Bridge crossing, a swim stop and a riverside grilled lunch. Drinks excluded.
- Manavgat combo, 9 hours, 40 EUR / 24 EUR: transfer, Taurus off-road, around 12 km of rafting, all safety gear and lunch. All extra beverages excluded.
Dinner instead of lunch: the night safari and Alanya
The Side Night Jeep Safari is a 35 EUR, five-hour evening programme for guests aged 12 and over, from early June to mid-November. Dinner on board the catamaran is included, with the jeep safari, hotel pickup and drop-off, the cruise, music and entertainment and a guide. Drinks are not included, and photos and videos by the team are extra.
The Alanya Jeep Safari to the Dim River is an eight-hour day at 30 EUR per adult and 17 EUR per child, April to November, with pickup across the Alanya area from Kestel to Okurcalar. Its route includes a swim stop and a riverside platform lunch on the Dim River. Drinks, the optional Dim Cave entrance, the photo service and village stall spending are not included.
If your hotel is all-inclusive
Pickup is in the morning after breakfast time and the drop-off is in the late afternoon, so you will be away across your hotel's lunch service. Worth mentioning at reception the evening before, so nobody is looking for you.
You are not paying twice for food that day, though. The tour's meal is already inside the 20 EUR, so the only money leaving your pocket at the restaurant is what you spend on drinks.
How paying works on the day
The reservation is free. No card is taken online and there is no prepayment: you pay in euros on the day, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.
Bring small euro notes for drinks and anything optional, and tell us your dietary requirement when you book rather than at the table, so there is time to pass it on. Guiding runs in English, German and Russian, plus Turkish.
