What language is the jeep safari guided in: the whole list
English, German, Russian and Turkish. That is the whole list, exactly as the tour records it, and nothing on this page is going to stretch it, because a language you were promised and do not get is a worse holiday than one you knew about in advance.
Turkish is on the list because the drivers and the guides are Turkish and a good part of the day is spent among people who speak nothing else — the village stop, the mosque visit, the lakeside restaurant. It is on the list as a working language of the tour, not as a market we advertise to.
Why the website's four languages are not the same four
This site is written in English, German, Russian and Polish, which is a different set. It reflects who books the tour rather than who guides it: Polish is one of the four languages we take reservations in, so the pages, the tour descriptions and the reservation form are all published in it.
What none of that changes is the day itself. A Polish page can describe the route honestly, quote the same inclusions, and take a reservation — and then the guiding on the mountain is still in one of four languages, none of which is Polish. The site is not going to imply otherwise by staying quiet about it.
If Polish is your language: what to expect on the day
We do not offer Polish-language guiding, and we would rather say that here than let you find out at the hotel gate on the morning of the tour. If you were counting on a Polish-speaking guide, this is the page that saves you the disappointment.
In practice it matters less than it sounds, and it is worth being straight about why. The jeep safari is not a museum tour that lives or dies on commentary: most of the day is a convoy of open jeeps, orchards, riverbeds, a swim stop, a lunch table and a water fight, all of which explain themselves. What the guiding adds is context and the practical instructions, and if you follow English or German comfortably you will lose very little. If you follow neither, the honest thing to say is that you will get the landscape and the day out, and less of the story.
Say which language you need when you reserve
The one action this page is asking for: name your language in the reservation. Not after, not at the hotel — at the moment you book, so it is in the booking rather than in somebody's memory.
And if language is the deciding factor rather than a preference — someone in the group who will be lost without it, a question about a medical condition that has to land accurately — ask us before you commit rather than after. The reservation is free and no card is taken, so asking first costs you nothing and changes nothing if the answer is not the one you wanted.
What the guiding actually covers
Guiding runs through the whole day rather than appearing at monuments. The route out of Side crosses orchards of orange, lemon and pomegranate and fields of cotton and sesame; there are Roman aqueducts, an old Roman bridge where the asphalt ends, a viewpoint over Green Lake and another above the Green Canyon. Somebody has to tell you what you are looking at.
It also covers the parts where getting it wrong matters: what to do at the swim stop, how the village mosque visit works and what to wear for it, and when the jeeps are about to start throwing water. That last one is not commentary, it is a warning, and it is the reason the language question is worth settling at the reservation stage.
German and Russian are not a courtesy add-on
Both are full guiding languages of this tour, not a phrase or two thrown over the shoulder. Side and the resorts along this stretch of coast have been German- and Russian-speaking holiday towns for decades, and the day is built for guests who arrived that way.
If you are booking from Germany, Austria or Switzerland, or from Russia or anywhere else where Russian is the language you travel in, ask for it by name in the reservation and you are asking for something ordinary rather than something special.
What we will not promise you
We will not name your guide in advance, and we will not tell you a language is available when it is not. Those are the same promise in two directions: the list is short precisely because it is real.
We also do not publish an exact pickup time for your hotel, and for the same reason — it varies genuinely from address to address and is confirmed after booking. If a page anywhere gives you a number or a name it cannot stand behind, treat both with the same suspicion.
Booking in your language, whichever language the day is guided in
The reservation side is where all four of the site's languages work fully. You can read the tour, check what is included, and hold a place without paying anything: no card is taken online, the tour is paid in euros on the day, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.
That is also why asking the language question early is cheap. Nothing is committed until the morning of the tour, so a reservation made on Monday with a question attached to it is not a risk — it is just a reservation with a question attached to it. The guide to how booking works walks through the rest of the mechanics, and the questions page collects the answers guests ask most often.
